Opening Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:30am—5:00pm
Opening hours are extended to 6:00pm during exam and revision periods

The LRC provides a quiet place for individual study and research, please respect every student’s right to study undisturbed. The LRC is covered by CCTV.
IT Resources
There are 30 PC computers with Microsoft Office and Internet access. The LRC catalogue, Magicat, is also available on all computers.
Print Resources
Textbooks : Indicated with a bright yellow T on the book spine. Crossways is gradually buying textbooks for students to borrow on an academic year basis. Textbooks are to be returned or renewed after the end of year exams for the subject.
Non-Fiction : Generally Non-Fiction books are lent for 2 weeks. Some copies of the text books and other high demand resources will be on restricted loans.
Fiction and Pleasure Reading : Available as 2 week loans.
Magazines : A variety of magazines are held by the LRC. They may be borrowed for 3 days.
Newspapers : The LRC buys daily London papers and local papers. Current issues are not for loan and can only be read in the LRC.
Multimedia :
DVDs—Are held for Media Studies students. Media Students may borrow them for 3 days.
CDs—Some books come with CDs; for security purposes, the CDs are held at the Circulation Desk.
Reference : All books marked as Reference are not for loan and can only be used in the LRC
Closed Reserve : - Books held at the desk for use in the LRC only. ID card must be left at desk whilst using the book.
Students are allowed to borrow up to 10 mixed resource items (e.g. 6 textbooks; 4 Non-Fiction; 4 Pleasure Reading; 1 Overnight loan).
