This is a practical work related course. You learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands within an art and design based context.

Progression to more advanced courses like A’ Levels, BTEC National Certificates or Diplomas in 3D Design, Design, Design Crafts, Fashion & Clothing, Fine Art, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Photography and Textiles.
Direct entry into employment within the industry
Entry requirements
BTEC Foundation Certificate in a related subject
Other related Level 1 or 2 qualifications
Four GCSEs at grade D, and a good standard of literacy and numeracy
Examples of your Art & Design work in a portfolio.
