Art & Design – Fine Art AS / A2
The course has been designed to encourage an adventurous and enquiring approach to art and design. Successful students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of past and contemporary art & design practice and be able to produce artwork that embraces a range of ideas.
What will I be doing?
Painting
Drawing
Printmaking
Sculpture
How will I be assessed?
The units will be assessed by coursework and externally set assignment.
Where do I go from here?
1. Progression to university degrees in Fashion, Interior Design, Theatre Design, Graphic Design, Photography, Fine Art, or related subjects.
2. Direct entry into employment within the Arts in a variety of roles.
Entry requirements
AS Level: Five GCSEs at grades A* - C. Relevant qualification at higher GCSE.
A2 Level: AS Level at grade E or above.
