Product Design AS/A2
Provides an opportunity to study, propose and realise prototype solutions to designing and making opportunities linked to the real world of product / system management.
What will I be doing?
Year 1 – AS Level
Unit 1: Product Development
Unit 2: Knowledge & Understanding of Product Design
Year 2 – A2 Level
Unit 3: Further Study of Product Design
Unit 4: Commercial Product Development
How will I be assessed?
The units will be assessed by a combination of internal coursework assessments and external examinations.
Where do I go from here?
Progression to university degrees in Interior Design, Graphic Design, Architecture or related subjects.
Direct entry into employment in a variety of roles

AS Level: Five GCSEs at grades A* - C
A2 Level: AS Level at grade E or above.
