Mathematics is a powerful means of communication with applications to a wide variety of disciplines. Mathematics describes relationships between numbers and other measurable quantities.

Core Units:
Year 1 – AS Level
Unit C1: Algebra; coordinate geometry; differentiation; integration
Unit C2: Algebra & Functions; sequences and series; trigonometry; exponentials & logarithms; differentiation; integration
Year 2 – A2 Level
Unit C3: Algebra & Functions; trigonometry; exponentials & logarithms; differentiation; integration; numerical methods Unit C4: Algebra & Functions; coordinate geometry in the (x,y) plane; sequences & series.
There is a 90 minute examination for each module.
rogression to university degrees in Mathematics, Physics and Engineering. Also useful for university degrees in Business, Finance, Economics, Accountancy, Computer Science and Information Technology.
Direct entry into employment within business in a variety of careers.
